Kim Carty, JD | Principal Broker / Attorney

Kim Carty is a principal real estate broker with Soldera Properties in Lake Oswego, OR. Not only has Kim been representing buyers and sellers in the greater Portland Metro area for 20+ years, but she is also a Certified Mentor and a licensed attorney in the state of Oregon. Kim strives to raise the bar, so she is happy to share her knowledge and expertise with new professionals in the field. With her years of experience and legal training, Kim also provides expert witness testimony in real estate cases where disclosure requirements and best practices for realtors are at issue.

Kim understands that real estate is a personal business, and each client's needs are unique. She enjoys teaching and guiding the first-time buyer through the home buying process, researching the market and properties for investors, and identifying options and strategies for the seller/buyer. No client is ever turned over to an assistant as Kim believes that people come to her for her knowledge and expertise; Kim is with her clients through closing and beyond.

When Kim is not working, she enjoys her "me" time at the gym, reading, watching her son play soccer, cheering for the Portland Timbers and Man City, and hanging out with her squad of family friends. Kim must also always have fur babies in her home. No home is complete without furry friends, and Kim’s family must include at least one pug.

Kim maintains a strong network of referrals to assist her clients with home repairs, lending, accounting, staging, etc. and commits herself to a lifetime relationship with all her clients. Her relationships are based upon honesty and mutual respect and she pledges to serve as a friend and real estate broker for life.
