Why You Need Me As Your Buyer's Agent
When making the biggest financial decision of your life, you need an experienced, knowledgeable professional looking out for you. I provide invaluable expertise, support, and protection. My comprehensive services and dedication to your best interests ensure a smoother, more efficient, and ultimately successful home-buying experience.
As an attorney and Realtor®, I have a deep understanding of the legal aspects of real estate transactions. This ensures that all documents are properly drafted, reviewed, and executed, minimizing the risk of legal issues. And with my experience in negotiation, I can effectively advocate for your interests, potentially securing better terms, price, and conditions.
Not only do I research the listing history of the prospective property my clients seek to buy, but I research the history of the property, permit status, zoning regulations, etc., to help identify any red flags or issues that could affect the property’s value and your decision to purchase. While I am not a contractor, I can also identify potential repair issues during buyer tours, and inform the home inspector, regarding which features of the house require deeper inspection. And don’t worry about finding a home inspector. I provide each buyer with a list of competent and highly qualified inspectors ,as well as contractors, that I know and trust.
I am passionate about real estate, and I am a fierce advocate for my clients. My business has been built on repeat customers and personal referrals. I believe that home buyers come to me for me and my expertise, not an assistant. You will never be turned over to a showing assistant or contacted by a transaction coordinator; it is my promise to provide you with expert attention throughout the home buying process. And my job is not over when you get your keys. I am always available to assist on any real estate or legal-related issue.
I strive to exceed my clients’ expectations. In 2022, one of my clients faced discrimination by a national builder. As a result of an unseen, but clearly documented mold disability, a national builder refused to allow my client to perform an additional mold inspection at my client’s expense. I asked the builder to allow my client to perform the inspection, and if mold were found, for it to be remediated prior to closing. If the mold could not be remediated, I requested that my client obtain the return of her $33,000 earnest money deposit that was otherwise nonrefundable. The builder refused, despite my notification to the builder’s team that “reasonable accommodation” was necessary. When I attempted to negotiate with an executive, they ceased all communication. Therefore, I contacted HUD on my client’s behalf regarding the alleged discrimination. After providing documentation of the events, I negotiated a Conciliation Agreement through HUD with the national builder requiring additional training for their sales staff and payment to my client. My client went on to purchase a new home from a local builder with these terms, happy and on the road to better health.
By hiring me as your Realtor®, you are not just getting a typical real estate agent, but a multifaceted professional who brings legal expertise, strong negotiation abilities, and a comprehensive approach to your home buying experience. This ensures that your interests are well-protected and that you receive the best possible guidance throughout the process. Contact me today and we can start your homebuying journey.
